    Good, I’m not crazy then. Just double-checked at http://movies.msn.com/movies/oscars2008 and there’s a photo of him on the red carpet with his mum, so, at least he’s there. Wish he had tidied up for the occasion tho. Though I gather the long hair has to stay for his upcoming role in Australia in ‘Dirt Music’.

    i’m also looking forward to seeing the computer- generated best-director Oscar . I read that the segment cost $125 million to create! A sure treat for special effects lovers! PS thanks for the above line-up. very cool.

    Ah, good, so Colin is on tonight afterall - just read he introduced ‘Falling Slowly’ from ‘Once” Soundtrack. excellent. Better do some more work - it’s only 2.25 in the afternoon here, so have a bit of a wait until the telecast tonight. Cheerio.

    Yeah, and I love that song too. Irishman presenting a song for an Irish film (what a masterpiece), I like the co-ordination.

    aaw, Ccate Blanchett missed out twice, that’s sad, she’s so great, and I don’t just say that cause I am an Aussie. And what country are u writing from at 5.30 in the morning, when u should be in bed? get some sleep. I’m aoutta here too …. again….at last!
