Pettigrew is worth seeing, especially if you like the cast. I've warmed up to X-Files somewhat thanks to some thoughtful reviews I've read. Still, it's really for fans of the show only.

Miss Pettigrew is nice. Plus, Amy Adams writhes naked except for a fur coat on a couch while giggling.

So, yes.

I saw THE X FILES last night at 6:30 P.M. at our nearby multiplex, with four of my five kids, and I must admit I was completely underwhelmed by it--it wasn't cohesive, was only intermittantly involving, and used and abused every conventional narrative device in the book--with an overbearing and manipulative score to boot. The young kids were completely lost. (understandably)
As far as MISS PETIGREW, that was only passable, but with limited releases I could understand someone giving it a look-see.
There are other new releases here in the states, but the last thing I want to do is be obnoxious and brag about these titles titles on this site, where, lamentably, a number of films don't come out until down the road a bit.
