- Review: Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day
- Movies seen but not yet reviewed, “Patti Smith: Dream of Life,” which I loved. I have written my review of it but I cannot decide on a rating, so it will have to wait. “Dream of Life” opens at the Film Forum in Manhattan on Wednesday.
- The pitiful line-up of films that opened in SA this weekend
- Fataculture on Facebook
- Posters: A super classy looking poster for the undeniably interesting [on paper] “Doubt.”
- Looks like Quentin Tarantino’s “Inglorious Bastards” is being eyed by Universal for international distribution
- The new Bond theme, a collaboration between Alicia Keys and Jack White, curious indeed.
- MovieZeal’s “Noir” month, not to be missed
- Venice Film Festival line-up, too bad no one cares since Toronto is just around the corner…
- Tri Continent Film Festival line-up, too bad no one cares because SA film festivals suck (except DIFF)
- Mummy 3 competition, for die hard fans of the franchise (all 5 of them)
- Trailering: “W,” half of “Che,” “Ashes of Time Redux,” “The Princess and the Frog,” “Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist,” “What Just Happened?“ and “Rachel Getting Married.” And I didn’t post this because I had already posted an obscene amount of trailers for one week (I should keep my trailer obsession to myself), but check out the star-studded “Winged Creatures” trailer when you get a moment. I’m not so sure what I think of it.

Trying to decide whether or not to give it a 6th star huh? ;-)

Good thing you reviewed, because somehow I missed that Doubt poster. I’m still mad I skipped the play when it was on tour here last year. You’re right, Oscar is definitely going to love it.

Also, I think it’s cool that the playwright is the screenwriter is the director.

Something like that Matty, something like that :) I’ve had a day to ponder a rating and I am no closer to settling on one!
Dan I wish I could see the play someday, I have heard nothing but raves for it, and I don’t see enough {or any} plays as it is.
Sam, I hope it doesn’t disappoint my friend..

CHE looks awesome. Even in little bits.

I still have not seen the trailer, but my hopes are still high for “Che,” just like they are for most people I think.
